Took me back to childhood memories of Carlsbad Caverns where my parents took me when I was nine. My adult years dictated I make numerous ice caves while climbing. Crystals of another kind. Enjoyed this.

THEY REMIND OF THAT OLD CLICHE',...YOU CAN'T TELL A BOOK BY IT'S COVER...' This is a splendid poem that captures the beauty and scariness of caves. I wonder if the beauty outshines the fear caves strike in my heart. This piece really makes me think about good versus evil in nature! Well done <3

they really light them up like a fairyland

Yes indeed, caves are by nature mysterious and you describe them very well, eerie, scary and yet inviting, especially if there are shining crystals inside. Lovely.
