How Many More Times?

Everything is fine, just got my thinking cap on again...

How Many More Times…?

On the computer to write,

How many more times will I see the light?

Daylight does come again,

Will I live to see tomorrow or will this be my last night?

I sit here and ponder,

Sometimes I also do wonder,

At the fate of my life

Will it end going out like a lamb,

Or will I be quite frankly torn asunder…?

Cards my game of choice,

While allowing my muse to wander,

Move this card here, than another there,

Is that what the game of life is all about?

Moving around, we are the cards, in a perpetual game of war…

That last line shook me... I literally gasped, Ed. Suddenly, my head swirled and churned at the directions that one little poetic line my thinking could go in at once. For some, being alone too much can render them silent, preoccupied with the mundane and feelings of lonliness... it seems to have lit a bon fire in you... a poetic blaze of ideas and amazing produndity. Of course, with Ruffie, you're never really alone... so I conclude that his presence, his company, is an inspiration few of us understand. Great stuff, these last many pieces, my friend. katy xox. seems that way Ed, life surely seems like a board game to me too. Too much of this and too much of that, watchout or your behind will pay. Hey at least Jeffery Dominer? is dead, you don't have to worry about him eating you. hehe. good write of wonder. G

Future: The Spiritual Story of Humanity by Glenn Martin
