As a well-known computer idiot, I can still offer something here that may or may not have any credence: Over the last year or two, I have listened to friends, some of whom are computer techs and experts, saying they are dumping AOL like a hot coal. Apparently, it's too expensive for what you get but also because it EATS memory and space and becomes sluggish because of that. I do know there are cheaper servers, some good ones are the local guys, whoever that might be in your area. I have DSL with SBC and pay 26.95/mo. But there are even cheaper and very good ones out there. Maybe it's time to hunt for a better server?
