Traveling through Life in Different Guises…

Through life we travel in pretense,

Not that it to me makes much sense,

Why bother to change the self for others,

As long as we were good enough for fathers and mothers…

Hiding behind the mask of the clown,

Feigning the fact of humor with an upside down frown,

Passing by He that does wear of thorns a crown,

Toting his cross up to the hill that on top is round…

We pass through this life but once or so it is said,

Do we need to pass it by leaving nothing in our path but blood so red?

Bleeding and crying but hiding behind our masks,

Drinking and guzzling the booze in our flasks…

Are we of necessity an army of one?

Do we carry though life to kill a gun?

Not all the time do I write of the pun,

Sometimes I must just let my mind on run…

I've gotta go with Roger on this one, EM... if we're expected to multi-task, just because we can, then thank god, we're also multi-faceted.

Now, your very real, emotional plea to be "kinder and gentler" flew straight into my head and my heart. When you do commentary on life, my eyes get wet. You're just such a sweetie-pie... (smile) katy xox

Huh? Try traveling through New Orleans in broad daylight even, you life is not your own. It seems everyone wants to talk about killing. The war. The unnecessary killing. Nobody wants to talk about the daily war in every city in America. No. THAT was is swept under the headlines. Not that that is where you are necessarily coming from. Just kinda went off here.

Transcendental Sojourn-Arrival to One Journal by Liz Cosline

Explains the realizations that have given the author the views of living life fully. The life each person dreams about. You must take a look at yourself before dreams can be reached. Deciding what is the core of belief.
