Bath Day… Today he gets a bath, His fur trimmed, His nails cut and teeth cleaned, Tonight he won’t love me very much, Yes this evening Rufuz will think me a fiend… I have tried to keep him clean, Instead to me he has spoken obscene, To hold him down they will need a Marine, Better them than me, I will relax and be serene… Who cares the cost? Rufuz is worth it before comes winters frost, After all is said and done, I am sure out of that groomer Rufuz will be tossed, Will have to find another the next time, Someone that does not yet know him and would Rufuz shun… © ed ~ 8/20/05

Jazz used to start shivering when he got in the car (Are we going the the vet (groomer) again?). Dogs know when we are going to be mean to them.

Too funny, Ed. Yeah dogs have a will of their own and I have only known a few who didn't hate the bath. The groomers have it down. They muzzle them and restrain them with a short teather...and we wonder why they don't want to go back..LOL

Ha! sounds like my buddy, Kathy's cat, Riley. She said that the vet told her Riley was by far the "naughtiest" pet in the whole week... got his nails "done"... For that, I brought him a treat and hugged him mercilessly! (grin) Vet's need a bit of personality from their clients, eh? Perhaps Ruffie and Riley could go in together... or... maybe not!

Isn't your annual cleaning and polishing right about now, too, Eddie M? You aren't out of soap again, are you? Sigh......smart-assed katy xox
