Is there any such thing as loving too much…?

We say we love you,

Said we do again and again,

Said we do till in the face we are blue,

But is there any such thing as loving too much?

We love you till we die,

We desire love and thereby sigh,

We do not ever with our feelings lie,

But is there any such thing as loving too much?

As humans do we fully understand love?

Sometimes with certain others love does fit like the proverbial glove,

But is it actually love we feel, or are we attracted to a more primal feeling thereof,

But again and again, is there any such thing as loving something or someone too much?
