Panoramic views,

Passed out from acid,

Do not watch the news,

Fifties born to turmoil..J

 

Sixties good, I think, to me,

Drugs, booze, news to see,

Burn the card, hell no we wont go,

Long haired hippie freak,

Get a haircut and a job,

Screw you, Nixon is a thief..L

 

Seventies attacked by fleas,

Polyester suits, clubbing,

Sleepin on downers,

Wakin up with speed,

Doin what we should not,

Gonna live forever,

Not enough booze,

God I feel hot sleepin in the zooz..J

 

Eighties pay back time,

Three years in the slam,

Learned little,

though how to never go back,

Bubbles of past memories,

Floating thru now realities,

Therapy, rape, no power,

Waiting for the day,

To be released from pain..J

 

Nineties, gettin older,

Work and responsibility

Order of the day,

Keep tongue in mouth,

Hands in pockets,

Still eyes burst from their sockets..J

 

Twenty first century,

Still pluggin along,

Bad back, gut, no more a slut,

Have to take time to get out of this rut.,J

 

I liked the sixties best,

Did not know, did not care,

Mommy and daddy still there,

Teachers a pain in the ass,

School worse, surfin all day,

High all night, may not have been good,

BUT DAMN IF IT WAS NOT THE BEST…!
