Poem Artwork

Made to be broken,

By some or so it seems,

When made by me,

Nothing changes them,

Unless of course promises are only a token…

If no intention is meant,

Then why of another torment,

No plans to actually do a future event?

Then do not schedule & give your consent,

Sometimes something someone thought heaven sent,

May turn out to be something another may actually resent…

Sometimes I may not of something enjoy,

I do so anyway, as my partner wishes me to it employ,

Even if something does of me annoy,

Still I try to seem interested, not wanting to their feelings destroy…

I agree with you Ed....a promise is a promise and must always been kept even if you pay the ultimate price to do so!!

Still I try to seem interested, not wanting to their feelings destroy…

And that sounds very noble, my friend.

Some personal stuff going on here. Sometimes (a lot of times) we seem to be forced into things which is not in our best interest. Part of the hypocritical things we do in the guise of "getting along."
