Is it freedom of speech,
To complain of what others teach?


Is it freedom of speech,
As well to run naked on the beach?


Is it freedom of speech,
To desire someone’s impeach?


Is it freedom of speech,
To wax poetic when we preach?


Is it freedom of speech,
To laugh at Chong & Cheech?


Is it freedom of speech,
To use color safe bleach?


Is it freedom of speech,
To be a leech?


IT IS FREEDOM OF SPEECH,
TO A HIGHEST GOAL REACH…

That reference to Cheech and Chong (I prefer Rae Dawn) cracks me up! Oops! Already got one. When it talks, is that free speech or just free gas? ;-)

I think so. Freedom of speech and making sense is another matter. I've made it a practice to abuse freedom of speech for many years now.

A clever poem on the subject Ed,and I agree! I have one caveat though,I wish we could be more careful of how we treat each other since we have so many varied opinions etc, we should take others into consideration when we make our statements. We shouldn't demean others to get our point across. That goes for all of us! you too rufuz;-)wo0f!

What a wonderful and democratic country we live in, where we can all express our opinions and ideals...as it should be...
It would be a boring old world, if we all just meekly agreed with another, at the expense of the eternal truth !
