Sorry folks, a bit of hometown pride showing...

Poem Artwork

Dear, dear Sea Isle,

Raised I was on your shore,

Never did I feel in anyway poor,

The ocean right outside my back door,

Dear, dear Sea Isle, I love you to your core…

Dear, dear Sea Isle,

I miss you most dearly,

Never have I felt for you merely,

Your beauty I found quite clearly,

Dear, dear Sea Isle, I miss you quite sincerely…

Dear, dear Sea Isle,

Times change I realize,

For no where else have I got eyes,

You have held me in your bosom,

No more can I say of my home town,

Beyond the fact that I do of you sensationalize,

Dear, dear Sea Isle I wish that I should never see nor hear of your demise…

A wonderful ode to the sea, Ed. Would make a great song. I feel this way about my hometown which I came back to over 10 years ago. Our hometowns hold so many good memories for us of our childhood and young adulthood. My town hasn't changed too much from the 60s and 70s. Things are pretty much still done the old way here. Old ice cream shops with hardwood floors and brass spitoons. Even hitching posts still are in use. Love to you and Rufuz, Ed.

No More Crying Angels by MORGAN ST. JAMES

TRUE STORY. Bella survived an abusive powerbroker father with organized crime ties, a drug-addicted mother and a physically/sexually abusive brother. Shocking & inspirational. When she couldn't cry, she tattooed a crying angel to cry for her.
