One can learn to live with pain, but certainly cannot work at hard labor with it. Face the problem head-on, Ed; you CAN work it out, even if you go back to a previous job with lighter work. Prayers help, if you make 'em happen...better than worryin', friend!

Don't let foolish pride heep you from disability. At least you have a legit reason, not like so many who fake it! You deserve it,since you paid into it while you worked. Rufuz, tell dad to wise up and get what he is eligible for!

He will give you the answers if you listen with your heart> I am reading a book The Secret of Happiness, Enjoy Today, Embrace Tomorrow, by Joyce Meye, a new book, and it tells not to worry and let things get you down. Don't even look to the future, be in the now. Things will work out for you if you have enough faith.

Very sad write. I hope all is well at your end if this is fiction, if not then you should read this little gem of a book called "The greatest miracle in the world" by Og Mandino, haven't met anyone who's read it and not had an impact from it.
