Surely I may use rhyme,

As well I do things in time,

Meter I guess I use too,

But on being a poet I haven’t a clue…

I freely admit it to you my peers,

Even if you all do of me jeer,

Yeah I have a kind of muse,

That does of me when I write steer,

But really and truly, if you were to of me read,

You would see for yourself as a poet I’m not, that’s the news…

So if I am not a poet, why do I herein write,

It relaxes me from daily stresses,

I don’t of others then their heads bite,

Its like a form of meditation,

Sometimes I’d like to know though what in the end would become my destination…

If you ain't a poet you always could write a check to Ma, she would have appreciate it...after all, PeeWee and me don't remember you writing one to her as we dutifully do every month! ! !

Denying the title doesn't vacate the destiny. Accept and enjoy the destiny granted you.

I always appreciate your sense of humor and your style, Ed. Great response to Bobbi's challenge.

There's a man from the east named Ed
He proves poetry isn't dead
He spins off the rhymes
As the breeze plays with chimes
And he doesn't let it go to his head.

Love and peace, bro.
