Some Things Never Change...

I didn’t say it, nope not me,

The end is nigh, or so it seems,

Am I angry, no, am I sad, yes,

A lot put in, so much both did invest…

Never having to deal with arguments, past,

Always walked away, didn’t let it last,

Perhaps I am just too immature,

Not sugar & sweets are marriages once they are cast…

Should I just stay like I am,

Grew up an only child,

Lived alone most of my life,

I can do it again, no problem,

Avoiding life’s stresses & strife…

Perhaps I should sleep on it,

Before making the final decision,

But what happened cut like an incision,

I thoroughly dislike any kind of derision,(right word, not sure?)

So for now, till I sleep on it, I will spare you all any further thought of rescission…

Hi Ed, So sorry about this! Momma always used to tell me that sleeping on it always helps, and it usually did... most of the time... think you're on the right track with that... stay strong...

In Spirit,
Bear
