I think Georg has said it best, now follow up on it, and Scott must be a wonderful friend, for what he's doing for "YOUR" dog,"HE" must be a of great character, you are so lucky to have a friend like that, and even if it were all your fault, with being sick the way you are, and all the problems, it's quite easy to not be in a solid frame of mind, but this my friend is now, so reach your hand half way to Scott, I think his arm is getting tired, so hurry up, or else I will send Georg and Ma to come to see you. Well, I must admit that what Scott says below about my not calling is true enough, I had just gotten out of the hospital, felt really lousy, could barely talk or breathe for those two months, but I should have called, no matter how badly I felt.

And yes Scott DID apologize for his initial words & would have kept Rufuz as long as he could, but thats changed for now.

Anybody want a dog, as the last resort, even though I love Rufuz, will be to have him put down...I can't have him in the campground & there is no place else to send him so...I'll keep trying, but it looks grim for ole ruffie...ed

I don't blame you for anything, Ed. Certainly for a moment, I dumped on you, but I did apologize for that afterwards, and if you can't accept my apology, that's your problem. Rufuz is fine, even though you've never called me once in nearly two months to see how your dog is doing--that's one of the main reasons why I got upset at you, along with your hateful greeting "what do you need?" when I called to see how you were doing and to tell you about how Rufuz is doing. And that's why I said I didn't want anything more to do with you and your hatefulness. To answer your question, I don't need anything from you, Ed, and definitely not the kind of inconsiderate friendship that you've shown me.

I'd like to see if there is anyone else in the whole world who cared (and cares) as much as I did (and do) about your dog when I drove half way across the country to take Rufuz into my home. Any takers in the whole world?

Sometimes all we can do in a bad situation is walk away and hope to solve the problem another day. Sounds like whoever "he" is may be having some serious medical/mental health issues and you can only help him when he is ready to help himself.
