Sole Mates...

Poem Artwork

If a boat we both did have,

We could sail to the ends of our imaginations,

At least maybe a few hundred miles,

Where no one could hear us giving each other smiles…

If that boat was a rockin’,

Don’t come a knockin’,

For if it was on a bay becalmed,

You won’t see us heading in for dockin’…

Each other we could keep warm,

And with screens no skeeters could swarm,

We’d be the only two creating a perfect storm,

Of passion & romance we both for each other,

Could ultimately & so powerfully perform…

if these sole mates are solitary shipmates, then it looks like the weather is set to be hot and heavy out there in Long Island Sound; if this is, on the other hand, just bath-tub dreamin, have pity on your poor rubber ducky... he might drown at this rate! :)) Glad to see you're ship-shaping up, AS Matlack... xx

Only one needs to own that boat
For both to sail that steamy moat
That surrounds the high pressure zone
And corrals that storm for you two alone

You're sounding better and better. Patrick

I hope your wish comes true, if anyone is deserving of time away at sea, it's you. But you have to get your land legs steady before you can attempt sea legs. LOL Keep working toward your goal, you're on your way, thanks be to God! You're still in my prayers, Ed, as is Rene and Rufuz. Loves ya!

(((HUGS))) and love, Karla.
