Thank u God for making me again whole...

Poem Artwork

I had just gotten out of the hospital this time last year,

After having more surgery that I ultimately did fear,

I laid in my bed and most of the days cried,

I couldn’t go outside even if I had tried…

The snow was much deeper then,

Three big storms came & went,

I wasn’t for some reason in the mood to eat,

I had to keep warm from the pad on my bed for heat…

But its been a year since,

Though sometimes I still move wrong & wince,

Thank you God for bringing me back & allowing me to live,

I am still healing to a small degree,

And feeling so much better than I ever thought I would be…

So glad you are enjoying good health, Ed; time to get down on your knees and give God all the praise and glory; after all, it was HE who brought you back! Know this: you remain in my thoughts and prayers!

So glad for you, Ed
That you climbed out of bed.
I hope you continue to improve
And wince less when you move.
