Eddie at thirteen…

I was younger in this picture, by maybe a few years...can't tell how old I was there...

So little of the world had he seen,

Had yet to, like so many, meet his queen,

Kissed his first girl, Eleanor Feen,

At the ripe old age of thirteen…

 

Not yet in high school,

Hung out at the beach & pool,

Surfed through the breakers,

Worked part-time at the local bakers…

 

Tall & skinny was he at that age,

Tried to wear clothes that were the rage,

A “naru” shirt he wore to dances,

Bell bottom jeans & took many chances,

Still never did he really have many romances…

Hey buddy brings back memories, my first job was also in a bakery after school each day, and yea have to admit I owned a neru jacket as well.
