It’s been almost two full years,

For my boy I have shed some tears,

I miss him when I see a show about a dog,

Wish I still drank, I could bury the feeling with a few beers…

His picture is still hanging around,

Maybe if I was trying to forget this might not be sound,

But in reality, I still want another Rufuz,

I just don’t want any old dog, for another him I am bound…

I truly hope where Ruffie did end up,

They took care of him & treated him like a pup,

He may have been over ten years old,

But I loved him just the same; he was my boy, yup…
