A confluence of the word,
All my own, they flow like the turd,
Please allow this little rant,
To change myself sometimes I just can't...

Poem Artwork

I allow of the world to of me read,

When in reality I only wish to from sanity secede,

The drugs I take keep me on a level keel,

Otherwise I’d be eating paint after it does peel…

My mind does run at an extremely fast pace,

Am I really this nut, this freaking head case,

Or do I just tell of me to you a lie,

My mind in gear, dear Lord, does fly…

Multiples of personalities,

My mind one of many casualties,

In a world of crazed indifference,

I suffer at the hand of psychological infidelities…

Am I herein ranting & raving,

Or is it just being noticed I am craving,

Smoking something as well taking a pill,

I need it out of my mind still,

Always & forever then misbehaving…

I do apologize to you all in my head,

An overuse of words to describe,

How many others within reside,

For only of you, can I be your guide,

Through my fibrous connections,

Try not to with any do collide...

Actually I suppose I am within a kind of jekyll & Hyde…

Nah Ed, we don't think you are completely nuts. I think we all truly have a few pesonalities that emerge from time to time. Like the sweet little old lady that all of a sudden turns into a demon and starts whacking someone with her umbrella...moods.

Ooh aren't we all Jekyll and Hyde? ;) The light and the dark, the committee meeting in our head where we seem to just be spectators overrun with these crazy thoughts. Enjoyed this!
