Self help category as it makes me feel better to write about it though most might put it in a blog...

Poem Artwork

I try so freakin’ hard,

Pay everything else up to date,

I wonder if I am even good at being a bard,

Does the world suck or is it just my fate…? L

I fix my teeth, now another one is getting bad,

I spent all my money; something should return good,

As well now my car needs work,

I am sorry for complainin’,

Bet u think me such a jerk…L

The end can’t come soon enough,

With this job & little money nowhere will I get,

I know that everyone is at this time having it rough,

Just once I wish I could win something big,

From my weekly lottery playing bet…L

So would we all, Ed. But if it were left to me or you, I say you.

If I win the lottery I'll send you some too, Ed! But in the meantime, all I can send is my positive energy and for whatever its worth, we care about you here in the Den! Keep on writing and I'll keep on reading...I enjoy your writing....

I know that everyone is at this time having it rough

How so very sadly true.

If I win the lottery, I promise I'll send you some cash.
(Ma's real proud of me now!!)

I hear you loud and clear, Ed. I've no magic words to say to you to get your head out of the doldrums, but I will go so far as to say there are many out here who wish you the very best. Try, as hard as it is at the present, to start thinking positive thoughts. I know it is tough to do with the cloud of defeat hanging over your head, but just do your best.

Ed, you're far from being alone in how you feel. I couldn't count how many times a day I ask, "Why not today, Lord, why not today?"
