Nasty winter predicted
No chance this year of my being evicted,
Heat paid for by complex, unrestricted,
To warmth, I’m afraid, I have become quite addicted…
Still quite a few months away,
Are winters freezing temperatures,
To find out this far in advance, how can they,
Figure out what pressures they have to measure,
To decide if our upcoming winter is going to give us displeasure…
I was remembering the physical struggles and challenges you've had over the last few years as I read this. It's really amazing that through all of them your love for writing has never diminished. Good point Ed! Them farmers must have some kinda weather stick better than any computer. They stick in in bull crap and out comes the news! Sounds similar to our system here in town, eh?

Was told how it was so very quite cold & blustery
Last winter I was outside in sub-zero, Arctic-like weather
Rescuing far too many freezing, starving, abandoned dogs
I really hope that they are wrong about this coming winter.
