“MAJOR mISTAKE”

           I have this friend that I love dearly,

          That I wronged definitely so clearly,

              Just one word I had to use,

             Out of the millions of others.

     That one word has ended a great friendship,

         And for that I am so hurtfully sorry,

    We have had this friendship thru thick and thin,

       I don’t know what to do to repent this sin,

        So, as always, I just run away and hide,

       Shutting off any contact with this friend.

    I hope he can see, by a certain words removal,

    And my future repayment of a past present,

    That I am strong in my convictions here,

    I will miss his constant fun, his love of Rufuz,

    And his wonderful new family that I have come to 

                     love as my own.

           But he seems to want it this way,

            I really hope and strongly pray,

         That this poem, he sees and realizes,

                That what I here, say

            In all my heart and soul, I feel,

          We will be friends forever, no matter,

                  the loss here today…
