In Memory…

In memory of a loved one,

Some go to the cemetery,

Long departed or not,

I hope it was not a tot.

Memories fleeting,

Are they cheating?

With every time we go to a meeting,

At the cemetery we are seeking,

Relief from sad feelings,

Are they found there?

For to seek a memory,

Can be done wherever one is at that time,

On the beach, in the air, or sitting in a chair,

Memories are always there,

As are those of a passed loved one,

    As long as you care…
