Cape May Lighthouse…”

A light that puts out a strong beam,

That brings to the faces,

Of old & young sailors,

A proud gleam,

Happy to know when,

The meeting of the Atlantic and Delaware,

            Are abeam.

Old sailing ships,

And modern power alike,

Have used the light at Cape May,

       For many a day.

Some not so famous,

Some infested with many a mouse,

But for those that light the way,

        As is Cape May,

Sailors have nothing but good to say.
