69' shaped this 15 year olds future, Woodstock, group sex, communes, drugs, Acid the drug of choice way back when, Pot was also there, but not the same, Didn't last as long, & the trip was more lame, But still we enjoyed that Woodstock trip, just the same.
Went to NY with my cousin, Don't know how I got home, He did not bring me, guess I just roamed, Found myself in my bed, no clothes, Stinking of smoke, reeking of alchohol, Also a new smell for me, that of sex.
From that point on, acid & pot had my full attention, The hell with high school, it got me no where, No one knew, but made it through, High school a blur of images thru rainbow glasses & eyes, Not even mom and dad realized how far away, And out of touch with reality I was, some of the time, Sat on my surfboard, vegging, waves came and went, But I just spent, My days, day dreamin' of how my life would be.
Did my life turn out as I had dreamed, well not exact, But it did not turn out too bad, Unfortunately, I have few childhood memories, Possibly from the drugs, more from the lack of desire to remember any pain, But I guess I have little to regret, I did, in the vernacular of the times,
MY OWN THING...
My meditative mantra: *SEX, DRUGS & ROCK N' ROLL*

ahh, the sixties...how i remember! those were the days; carefree and innocent! (i was but a very little girl in the 60's; my very first memory is when john kennedy was assasinated, and i remember my parents and grandmother crying as they watched the tv, and i remember asking: "why?" i also remember the rockets going to the moon and watching saturday morning cartoons on tv and playing with my brother and sisters! those were some of the happiest times for me!)
