There is a enough dirt

To bury me in a hole already dug.

No expensive trappings,

Nor a notification I'm dead.

A simple prayer will do more good,

If in purgurtory I'm stood.

That would be my wish

When I face the Lord's judgment.

No matter what people think,

God knows all the facts.

You will be judged fairly,

No excuses will get you off the hook.

It's a time to see all your mistakes,

And the love you had for mankind.

That I think is most important,

It can wipe out many sins.

God called us to love one another;

Not an easy task we have to perform.

Love your enemies, do good to them-

Another most trying deed to accomplish.

Well I hope I get the chance to repent

In sincerity, before the curtain comes down.

Then I can die in peace and face my judgment,

Hoping that God's mercy will prevail.

I'm glad you're not waiting for some unknown, unseen, and silent god to express your concern for this life while you can.
