This is supposed to be a joyous season

but it never seems to work out that way.

There are those who find problems

That did not exist before and are sick.

We do our best to console them

And our words, small as they may be,

Do help and are most welcome

When a tragedy or sickness comes along.

So be thankful if all goes well,

And pray for those who may find

More problems than they can handle.

They are out there, even if you don't see them.
