 THE SKY DANCER

The Sky Dancer,

Greets the day.

Then she turns and dances,

Merrily on her way.

The Sky Dancer,

Wearing golden robes of sun,

Dances  from cloud to cloud,

Chasing the breeze for fun.

The Sky Dancer,

Dances through the day,

Twirling and swirling,

As the sky darkens to gray.

The Sky Dancer,

Says goodbye to the light.

Wearing a moonbeam gown,

She turns, and greets the night.

The Sky Dancer,

Dances through the night,

Chasing the stars,

Until the day shines bright.

The Sky Dancer,

Greets a new day.

Then she turns and dances,

Merrily on her way.

There does seem to be a sky dancer up there, orchestrating everything, making sure everything happens as it should. Fine work. John

"Wearing golden robes of sun"
That's what really need here now,

It's been a while since I've seen this kind of poem from you. It reminds me of the "sun dancer" that my ex wife put in our window. Could be anything that brightens our days.

Sunrise of Thought by Bruce Humphrey

Welcome! The poems in this beautifully bound book are a result of over twenty years of observations. Observations of the world around us and on the telecommunications network. All of the hate, love, heroism, disasters, and those who help. Beautif
