A dopey little ditty.

 BURNOUT BOB

Burnout Bob smokes a lot of pot,

And he’s always high.

He never lets a bowl or joint,

Ever pass him by.

He grew up in the 70’s,

But doesn’t remember being there.

Burnout Bob’s a stoner,

And there were parties everywhere.

Burnout Bob’s a bit paranoid,

Concerned about his supply.

He suffers from nonarcophobia,

He’s afraid of not being high.

I resemble this poem, Mike, well at the very least it sounds quite familiar...Bob and I have tastes that keep us high and in the sky...-e-

It was FUN getting high in the 60's. But it was NO fun coming back down to earth. Still, who likes spending their life in a toilet? Most rock stars stay high. Then when they cannot function anymore they have to kiss that lifestyle Good-bye. The other choice is to die. Yes, very sad but many choose to die. Bye-bye!

I've never once taken the "high" road, and I don't see any point in my beginning at this stage of the game. Some might make fun of what I just said, but we all have choices in this life. As for your poem, Michael, you always do a fine job. Your audience loves your sense of humor.

I must remember this one: "nonarcophobia"! I was just telling my husband that you have the funniest poetry. A reminder of his college days.
