I’M NOT THAT SMART
I was never a prodigy.
I was never called a whiz kid.
I was always getting in trouble,
For the stupid things I did.
A little slow at times,
I’ll never be a brain.
When I start to think too hard,
The strain causes pain.
I understand my situation.
I know it my heart.
I’m just smart enough to know,
That I’m not that smart.
But I can say, that’s okay.
I can live with that.
I’ll march to the beat of a different drummer,
And wear my own kind of hat.

There is another one, "You will usually achieve whatever you perceive are your highest limitations." However, I have to say, you have poetic talent like very few. Many people enjoy your poems, I look forward to reading them too. So, reach beyond the stars and one day you will reach a level that you knew could only be attained if you truly believe in the unlimited genius that's inside you! Sincerely, John Michael
Love ya!
