My oldest granddaughter just turned 18, and has left home for the first time. She's moved away to to attend a cxosmotology school. This poem was written for her.
You don't have to worry, although I read it in these lines. Eighteen is a good age to branch out and leave home. Those that don't are the problem. Last year, the second of my brother's granddaughters completed college and got a job. What was really nice was that both of them completed a four-year college degree without any debt. Let us hope that your granddaughter will set up her cosmetology shop without any debt as well.
They all do that when they are about that age to be independent which I think is a good thing. They need to get the life experience on their own.
