Poem Artwork

Perhaps the hardest word to say - Goodbye.

I said goodbye to failure and non achievement.

A young woman still groping in darkness.

Groping, trying to become who I was created to be.

Morning will come, after this night.

With my eyes of faith, a light I see.

Shining bright like a thousand suns.

Oh and that voice, very soothing and encouraging.

It assures me that I'm almost there.

Refuse to settle for less.

Say hello to goodbye.

Oh, we all have to say goodbye. Especially to our elders… And we need to say goodbye to them before they actually leave, for then it is too late. And, if we are to be a success in this world we must say goodbye to familiarity and move out into the unknown, sometimes leaving family and friends in the neighborhood that we know in order to "not settle for less."

Much wisdom is intertwined in this poetic song Mary. It's a keeper, just like you, it's very special!
Love and abundant Blessings,

Beautifully rendered. Never step back from that next step. If things are in the way toward your dream and can't be budged, go around them, a slight detour to the fulfillment you so richly deserve.

Beside Still Waters by Jill Eisnaugle

Each person is but a grain of sand resting beside the sea. This thought sets the tone for Jill Eisnaugle’s latest poetry collection, Beside Still Waters.
