One of my very few "R" rated poems, is reposted for those who might like it, again, or for a first time.....,

Bittersweet Ecstasy

His waiting through weeks of pursuit
Is ended in a move of the love-me-now
Saying that further wait proves nothing
That their time to have the other has come
Matching perfectly her need for solace as
He presses sweet words past her resistance
And a flower opens its need to the sun

She knows the hemorrhaging moment of
Losing reason and caution as they dissolve
Into total giving of nothing held back in a
Rushing of indescribable moments from
Bittersweet ecstasy of total abandonment
Rising on a swell of high passion’s flow
Without thought to a shame of no regret

This screams of the patience, realization, necessity and urgency of "passions flow"...and flow it does with no regrets...
Sensational perfection.

Abandonment,bittersweet...Highs and lows of factual love embraced with a lull that is suffocating. You wrote a novel in few words.

oh my goodness...Bill, this is without doubt one of the more steamier pieces I have ever seen of yours...and you use of language in this...the unexpected way in which you combine words in phrases is a sheer delight.
