Will O' The Wisp Will o' the wisp Wafting words of intrigue Warm joy to ears and eyes The meaning a mystery In comfortable anonymity Wisp a handful of hay or Straw dry grass held in hand Poets extol it as hair A strand curl tuft tress Going awry in the wind In use accepted as judge Decision maker The last word Embraced in a whispered Will... of the wisp 2007 F William Broome �
