I remember my ex-husband telling me about having visited the horrible death chambers in Germany -- and he could still smell the burned flesh in 1968. It would be amazing if all that money was spent on giving people a good life, instead of taking life. We can only hope and pray that someday ...

I lived in Frankfurt Germany in my immortal years. I still have the stench in my nostrils of the German Conventration Camps in Nancy France. It never goes away and upon thinking back the stench comes with the past.

Yes it is sad that we who lived in the aftermath of such events still remember but all too often lately the younger generation have no idea of the terror of the man's humanity to man that once existed and could very easily exist again if blind eyes are turned.
