Without knowing it, I have adopted a style of
writing what I have to say. It doesn't have a
name, and probably doesn't need one, but my
readers say they like my style. Consequently,
I feel rather strange about it, and wonder if
I need a recognized style. Is mine good enough
for the kind ones who don't comment. One of
my friends is a bit loquacious, saying that some
of my writing is "as smooth as an old bourbon."
Drinking in my words may be acceptable, but
I trust that the taste is acceptable, and that their
affect is not too intoxicating. I strive for clarity
and to entertain in order to make my points, or
to pass along valued views on life back then,
and how much of what I value is sill usable.
If I am to have a style, I trust that it is nothing
more than conversational words of the man
who enjoys writing about rewards out of an
amazing life lived by a thankful individual.

These words, in a nutshell, speak to what makes your poems a joy to read and an inspiration or delight to me. Thank you.
I don't know anything about style. I usually enjoy your work. I'm not a romantic they are the poems I can't comment on. I usually enjoy a good write like yours. Keep writing please...Joyce
Style like beauty is still in the eye of the beholder and we write to please ourselves first but if it touches someone else along the way it sure feels nice....
Write whatever you feel (and you do), write in whatever style you want to (and you do)--the main thing here, Bill, is to just. Keep. Writing! Your words imprint on my heart, and that's all that matters to me. :) Well done.

I like this for you, Your words are fluid and rich. I think this is your poetry a lot of the time.
