A Gift For You.....

A Dictionary Is Often Good Poetry

I learned early in life that a thick edition of
Webster's Dictionary offered a new source
of usable words and deeper meanings.
When reading of new words, I feel warmth,
elation, reward and appreciation to those
whose talent keep us up-to-date with a
logical and satisfying means of saying what
our brains want to express within poetry.

Sharing with you a source that gives more
than definition, I offer the often used, but
seldom understood, word, "Pollyanna."
Webster's poetry warms our hearts with
these words, "One having a disposition or
nature characterized by irrepressible
optimism and a tendency to find good in
everything; an overly and often blindly
optimistic person."
