Morning breaks as I awaken, feeling the need for love and food, but not sure of finding expressed love. Waking up is often traumatic in going from one world to the other without moving. Once the transition is made, I readily wish for the other one, preferring its warm fantasy.
I am programmed to arise and join a world of confusion in tha, 'I'm not there yet' realm, trying to make an early choice of 'Coffee- tea or you,' silently pondered and relished until you make the decision,
After serving your tea in bed, I pull open a world outside, and quickly aappreciate everything absorbed. Breaking a promised silence, I observe this moment in time as significant and most rewarding during my waking up with you.
Splendid piece here! I love the line about pull open the world instead of just letting the curtain draw. That's very unique and keep up the great writes.
My book of poetry is being redone by me, I have a beautiful cover designed and the book will have a few more than 200 poems in it. I am going to have it printed on demand here in Canada. When it is done I will let you know when it is done and if anyo
