Several days ago I reposted a poem of mine,
because it was the favorite of a dying friend.
His death was on March 31st. I traveled to
suburban Atlanta to be near his family and to
attend the funeral. There, I saw friends who
I had not visited with for a decade or two.
In between funeral events, I was the guest of
a favorite granddaughter and husband, with
whom I spent high quality time, to include
two very young children. In the next few
days I will be sharing with you strong views
of life and how it ends as other lives begin.
The passing of a dear friend is always a sad and reflective time, I am sorry for your loss Bill. On a happier note spending time with a new generation of one's family sort of completes the circle some how.
peace and love, Carole~
I'm sorry to hear of the death of your friend... but it does my heart glad to know you got to spend time with family. Sometimes that is the best healing there is.... Take care and much love, M
Although the death of your friend is tragic, the time spent with your grandaughter was much needed...and I'm looking forward to reading what both events have taught you.
peace and love, Carole~
