Maturity = Trust

How Lucky We Are

Believing in someone is the greatest gift
Think about how lucky we are to believe
Having true friends who stay right there
For the mix to become better and more

There is no mystery in lasting friendship
In asking why one must adjust to another
To seal a bond of trust for learning life
Admitting that neither will bleed a friend

Good friends are fruits of growing up
They have no use for childish manners
How is it possible to choose immaturity
And expect to be an adult with rewards

Being a kid again is fun when shared
Balancing what cannot be one-sided
True friendship and love is for adults
Who live every day within total trust
