All I'm saying is
that grits is - nothin' -
'er nothin' but cream of corn
Lots of import-ed people
eat cream of wheat -
but down hea'h
we eat grits -
hot 'n - special
with real
cow butter
just smotherin' 'em
sorta' gooey like

Love your poem...but have to say I agree with Karla! Have tried them up north AND down south...not my cup of tea...lol. I guess it's an acquired taste.
