The elusive meaning of . . .

Just In Time

You've heard it before and
you will hear it once again
It's a balm to ease the hurt
when first prize gets away
It's a consolation after great
expectations don't happen
It readily explains why we
keep hoping that we'll win
These words are never clear
and we always smile as we
hear them again just in time

Like it, good capture and use of an old saying as a philosophy of live and let live.

Bill,

These words ring so true and so you've caught them so eloquently. What exactly does that phrase mean, "just in time". Enjoyed.
