... and so many of them. Our garden is bounded by lines of mature oaks and our lawn becomes totally golden within moments of removing the last lot of newly-fallen leaves. I keep collections of them in my bathroom and talk to each as they fly through my open windows, as if bearers of strange secrets and messages... yeah, I know...
