The Amazingly Unreliable Computer
A computer is only a moody, part-time companion.
Its faithfulness is measured by outside connections,
over which no one has control to any actual degree.
It is influenced by more factors than human beings,
and is completely loyal to no one in any length of time.
The above is evidence that ownership is a useless
term, describing only who paid for it upon purchase.

2 days with no computer, poor boy. We laughed at the Orwellian concept that one day computers would rule the world. I now regard computers much like marriage... "can't do with 'em and can't do without 'em."
