My work below is a memorial to one of the best friends ever. He was killed on this date back in our world-saving war of the Forties. He knew how to lead men and to be a friend. Yes, he was a true American Revered Warrior.
America's Revered Warriors
They did what computers and rockets could not do.
They did it for country, mother, mate and family.
They responded after enemy nations attacked.
They didn't agree in their time that war is preventable.
They fought.
Some died.
Most changed.
They didn't support dishonorable idealists saying, Don't go.
They knew only that freedom continues to be attacked.
They were first to train and meet the enemy on its terms.
They and those before them know no other way to stay free.
Determination and this Tribute says it All Bill!So Sorry for your loss!
