Long days in memory

Angels wings touch the ground
voice of love is the sound
a child in the morning sun
is going to her new home
a marker of her time on earth
is just this stone
a picture here
a mother's tears

Come and see the crib
see the place where she lived
a wonder world for a little girl
a place of fun of play
a warm and loving sunny day
so filled with mother's touch
love that is this much
now she is gone

Clouds form to see
a last view of laughing clowns
warm times in a swinging tree
and furry bunnies running free
Last smile on an angelic face
this world is can be a hell of place
miss her so this child of long ago
soon I will too go home

Quiet days in fields of corn
see the angels in the sky form
a true tribute to the world below
as the day closes in on me
feel my soul wanting to be free
a gift of love crowing crow and cooing dove

We are the same
feel the cool rain
Heaven waits
Never too late
to remember
a loving
God

A very sad but lovely poem. It is so sad to lose a child. God bless!

Memorabilic in the deepest sense. Wouldn't it be great to read the thoughts of those we had to let go?
