~~~~~~For The Haiku Lovers~~~~~~
High Mountain
Climb a high mountain,
and when you get to the top,
honor the valley.
Pride
Pride is a lion,
perched upon its wicked throne,
roaring at the court.
Rebirth
Winter's mortality,
locked in frozen indifference,
melts with Spring's rebirth.
Justice
It rains on the bad
just as it rains on the good;
the results vary.
Dusk
Darkness has prevailed
as the proud sun slowly dies,
swearing to return.
Trees
Climb those trees my boy,
for one day you will find trees
that cannot be climbed.
Frustration
I curse my ill fate
with a fist raised at heaven;
but heaven just sighs.
Hooked
As I went fishing,
I was enticed by nature,
hooked by her beauty.
Raining
Empty drops of rain
falling gently on my heart
echoing the pain.
Love=s Warmth
Like a cube of ice,
bitterness, under love's warmth,
slowly melts away.
The Key
She opens new doors
with the key that trips the lock
that once chained my love.
Time
Time is slipping by
as I race against the clock
searching for more time.
Tears
Tears of loneliness
trapped inside this hardened shell
begging for freedom.
Sunset
Bleeding painlessly,
the orange sun falls slowly
swearing to return.
She Belongs To Me
she belongs to me
be ye jealous and morn
oh stars of the night
Beauty
Footprints in the sand
that lead me to her beauty,
but none leading out.
