Pearls of Wisdom is one of the poems set in my up and coming book called "Pearls of Wisdom." This poem is about learning and growth.

They say that wisdom comes in age, in time,

As you grow and go through life, time after time,

You Rely,

On the Wisdom of the Elderly, the Elders to get you by,

And sometimes, you find,

That you are unable to rely,

On the wisdom of those who have grown in time,

But not in mind, need I remind,

Thee,

That Wisdom does not come from age alone, see.

Wisdom is portrayed as a woman crying out so loudly, so gently,

So patiently, she cries out like thunder for thee,

Begging and pleading in the streets for company,

That is true destiny,

Longing for the passions of God to comfort thee,

Clearer the pictures get as wisdom is imparted to thee,

You are made free,

Whole within, time and time again, you see,

As wisdom, is imparted by part to thee,

Older is not wiser, it is simply older,

Sometimes colder, scolder,

Harder to understand and cope with

Many have made the mistake of thinking that wisdom alone is all that you need,

But it is ever so easy to be deceived,

If you run off of only what others have told you to believe,

Than you can not receive,

In the manner in which God meant it, if it is not He who imparted unto thee,

The words of wisdom that set you free.

Wisdom is lively, it demonstrative, it’s passive and sometimes aggressive,

But never in the essence of creating chaos and tension,

Need I mention,

The Lord leaves no room for doubt or suspicion,

He brings about Great Tidings and Massive Visions,

So that we are able to see,

God is not the author of anything that is not Peace,

Therefore, through wisdom, we are able to find release,

Relief,

In God’s perfect peace that He calls

“THE PEARLS OF WISDOM”
