Yet I Am Here
Look at you you ugly bunch
wallowing in your sorrows
I just died to get some rest
I'll be back to haunt you all tomorrow
Now I have turned your loss to fear
with the thought of my return
Having to watch the things you say
I may not be resting in the urn
I always liked a practical joke
now you wonder if I'm dead at all
When strange things illume in a quiet room
or noises from down the hall
Yes I am gone yet I am here
with each one of you my life has touched
If I never had a chance to thank you
I meant so with my heart in as much
I plan to go with God to Heaven
seeding clouds raining good upon the Earth
Teaching the Angels to march two by two
and praise you on your own rebirth
Maybe things are not that way
my mind envisions the thereafter
It's fun to think I have control
and Heavens blessed with laughter
Live your life and think of me
my thoughts are always with you
Trust your heart with fellow mate
and love will see you through
