She continually lights forest fires with rumors
drafts others to extinguish the flames
Kind words fall dead in a Styrofoam head
wind chime's her earrings air from her brain
She's not half bad at loving
her house as clean as filets mignon
She's at her best in a party dress
with a battalion of soldiers at the pentagon
In time she'll be mine forever
when she finally sees my hidden charm
I'm the lone rooster in the pasture
dreaming of walking arm and arm
